In a cave

November 16, 2006 by Dan

I had a glass of wine with a friend of mine this evening – “I feel like I haven’t seen you in a while,” she said.

It’s true.  I haven’t really seen most people in a while, as I’ve been working from up to bed for somewhere in the neighborhood of two weeks.  Aside from running and a couple of things last weekend, I’ve been at home or downtown, working, writing, and that’s it.

The positives – financially it’s great.  On the other hand, I’m so tired that little things like MUNI being as incompetent as it normally is really bugged me today.

Other stuff I saw today:

  • Two kids fake-fighting near the front door of the taqueria where I was having late lunch.  They came in, wrestled on the floor, and left.
  • Tomatoes at two for a buck in the Mission.
  • Campus at school shrouded in mist, with people bustling here and there, their faces obscured by umbrellas.

Not bad.
