In which Apple fails

1

April 29, 2012 by Dan

I’m an Apple user – as most of us are in some way or another. Today, I’m trying to get something from the Apple App store. Every time I do this, I get really irritated. See – I have no idea what my Apple password is, because the following thing always happens:

1) I try my password
2) It fails
3) I try another password
4) It fails, and Apple locks me out
5) I reset my password, and Apple doesn’t let me use any password that I’ve used in the past year.

I’ve done this something like twelve times, because I reset the thing once, a year ago. And now…well, I have to reset it every time, because I’m twelve passwords in and I have no idea what password I used, because it’s been reset so many times. Frustrating.

I have trouble with this also, and with those wierd electronically distorted words that you have to type in – you have to get the right user name, the right password, and then be sure you have typed all the large and small letters, not confusing an “l” for an “i” or a “1″ and if you mess it up three times you are out for the count. Why is it that the more secure I am made to be the more frustrated and irritated I feel? (I have this sense at airports also)
