Vacation comin’…

I’m having one of those couple of days because…well, I’m tickled. We’re headed to Japan in September (another fantastic vacation), and

We’re flying in business class and first class. I’ve never done this before (well, except for the time I got bumped up to Virgin Atlantic Upper Class ten years ago, but that was before flat-bed seats), and I couldn’t be more excited. I should also give a shoutout to the guys at PointsPros; they were incredible – got us tickets to/from Japan on miles. Well worth their consulting fee for my peace of mind. That’s in September. In the meantime, I’ve got things to write and a not-selling-much book to promote. But at least I’m in a fantastic mood.

Hey Dan! Years ago, I attended a scavenger hunt that was associated with this website. It was one of the best scavenger hunts that I’ve ever heard of — was this something that you coordinated? Any idea if it still takes place? I just moved back to SF and would LOVE to get in on this action again! I’ve seen some other hunts, but they tend to stick to one neighborhood…and just don’t sound quite as impressive. Thanks in advance for your info!!

Yep, you’ve got the right guy…sadly, I’m not really doing that any more. We did five of them in four years, and kind of ran out of steam. Either that or we ran out of stuff to do in San Francisco
I’m mostly writing now – my book (perplexingproblem.com if you want to see) is kind of scavenger-ey, and based here in SF.
