A couple of end-of-year thoughts

Dan | December 30, 2007

I swore I’d stay away from the computer today, other than to use it for music-listening purposes. But, it’s December 30th, I’ve been puttering around, and I had a few things I wanted to note before the end of the year. Warning: This is pure navel-gazing bloggery, and if it’s not the [...]

Song for the day

Some travel thoughts

Dan | December 10, 2007

I was browsing around on my lunch break today, and I came across the NYT’s 53 Places To Go In 2008. To my delight, I’d been to ten of them already, which takes the pressure off. It’s a weird list, though - including two different places within Miami, the city of Detroit, and some [...]

Playwriting

Dan | December 1, 2007

One of the classes I took this semester was on playwriting. We read plays, went to plays (and the opera, because, well, it’s the opera), and wrote little fragments of play script. I’m sitting at home on this Saturday night (currently playing: an indie band called The Anniversary, who I found on [...]
